Who We Are

The Egyptian Government in Exile (EGE) is the sole legitimate representative of the Egyptian people, formed in opposition to the current illegitimate regime occupying our homeland. We are a sovereign-in-exile government comprised of Egyptians—both at home and abroad—united in our refusal to accept the betrayal, oppression, and foreign domination that have plagued Egypt for decades.

We act as a provisional national authority working to restore freedom, dignity, and authentic Islamic governance to the land of Egypt.

Our Mission

• To restore Egypt’s independence from military dictatorship, foreign manipulation, and Zionist influence.
• To uphold Islamic values, justice, and the sacred rights of the Egyptian people.
• To prepare the foundations for a free, representative, and righteous Egyptian state guided by the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the will of the people.
• To document and resist human rights violations, economic exploitation, and the suppression of Islamic identity in Egypt.
• To unify Egyptians from all regions, classes, and walks of life under the banner of justice, faith, and national renewal.

Our Legitimacy

The EGE does not derive its legitimacy from force or inheritance, but from principle:

• From the oppressed masses whose voices have been silenced.
• From Islamic law, which commands justice and forbids tyranny.
• From the historical continuity of Egypt as a sovereign and proud nation.
• And from our unrelenting commitment to rebuilding a homeland where every Egyptian lives with dignity, safety, and hope.

What We Do

• Governance-in-Exile: The EGE maintains a functioning structure of ministries, councils, and leadership bodies to act in the service of Egypt’s future.
• Political Advocacy: We engage with international communities, human rights organizations, and fellow movements to build awareness and solidarity.
• Media & Publications: Through official statements, reports, and cultural initiatives, we inform the world of the truth about Egypt’s condition and our vision for its liberation.
• Recruitment & Readiness: We train, educate, and prepare dedicated Egyptians for future service in national reconstruction—whether in politics, administration, law, or defense.

Our Vision for Egypt

We envision an Egypt that is:

• Free from tyranny, military dictatorship, and foreign control.
• Faithful to its Islamic identity and cultural heritage.
• Just in its treatment of all citizens, regardless of wealth, background, or social class.
• Unified under a legitimate, righteous, and competent leadership.
• Strong enough to defend itself and help lead the Muslim world into a new era of dignity and renewal.
