النسر الذهبي لصلاح الدين، مزين بألوان مصر الوطنية والعربية: الأحمر، والأبيض، والأسود، ويحمل على لافتة في مخالبه عبارة "جمهورية مصر العربية" مكتوبة بالخط العربي.
يُعد هذا النسر رمزاً للقوة والعزة والوحدة الوطنية، وتاريخياً يُنسب إلى القائد صلاح الدين الأيوبي.
يظهر النسر على صدره درع بألوان العلم المصري بشكل رأسي، ويواجه جهة اليسار.
يُستخدم الشعار الوطني في العلم الرسمي وفي جميع الوثائق الحكومية.

National Emblem of Egypt

The golden Eagle of Salahuddin with the national and Pan-Arab colours of red, white, and black, and the Arabic writing of “Arab Republic of Egypt”.
This eagle symbolizes strength, pride, and national unity, and is historically attributed to the leader Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi.
The eagle’s breast bears a shield with the vertical colors of the Egyptian flag, and it faces to the left.
The national emblem is used on the official flag and all government documents.
